Daniel is a transformational leader, entrepreneur, and product development coach. He is a passionate advocate for Lean, Agile, and system engineering methods and practices with over 21 years of engineering and product development experience. Prior to founding www.FiveWhyz.com, he was an engineering manager and a senior product consultant at Intel Corp. He has worked in areas as varied as product and process development, project management, sales, marketing, strategic planning, product management, and talent recruiting. Over the years, he has developed heuristics for successful, sustainable transformations that scale. Daniel is a graduate of MIT’s Leaders for Global Operations program where he received an M.S. in Engineering Systems and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Business (Masters Thesis focused on Lean transformation of an 800-person service org). His current areas of focus include organizational transformations, entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, Lean, Agile, Product Management, Cynefin, and complex adaptive systems.
